              Motorola has announced that its new flagship smartphone, the Moto X (2014), along with the Moto Hint earbud, and the Motorola Turbo Charger, will be available for pre-order Tuesday. Unlike last year's model, the revamped X carries high-end specs including a 5.2-inch, 1080p AMOLED display with 423 pixels per inch, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with a 2.5 GHz quadcore CPU, an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit, 2 GB RAM, 2,300mAh non-removable battery, as well as a 13-megapixel camera with dual-LED rind flash capable of shooting 4K video. IMAGINE being able to download a full HD movie in less than three second, or back your entire computer up in less than a minute without the need for any cables.
Samsung has announced that it has made a breakthrough in Wi-Fi technology which will allow a 1GB file to be downloaded in less than three seconds.
“Samsung’s new technology removes the gap between theoretical and actual speeds, and exhibits actual speed that is more than 10 times faster than that of 2.4 Ghz and 5GHz Wi-Fi technologies,” the company said in a statement.
Samsung claims it is able to eliminate a problem where too many signals from different smartphones, tablets or computers cause interference, which hampers speed.
The company didn’t really say much about how the new technology works, but Samsung has said to expect the first devices with the new Wi-Fi standard to appear in 2015.
It’s worth noting though, that this new breakthrough doesn’t suddenly mean you will have faster internet, your internet service provider controls that. This simply means faster connections in your internal network between devices.
The technology itself also isn’t quite ready to replace your entire Wi-Fi network, with the range only around five metres. This means that at this stage it’s only really useful for sharing content between devices in the same room.

Not satisfied with just revealing a printer, HP has also launched a new type of device that combines a computer, projector, and scanner into one machine called Sprout.
This computer is something that HP pulled from its "experimental" department. It's most distinct feature is its complete lack of keyboard and mouse. Instead, it opts for mat that can summon a digital keyboard and also moonlights as a digital canvas with a variety of different applications.

This strange-looking computer even looks futuristic. The only thing that you could say is conventional is its 23-inch desktop powered by an Intel Core i7 with 1 TB of storage. Perched above the display is a DLP projector and LED lamp. This little guy beams down different images onto the mat such as a keyboard or launches Sprout-specific applications (which require a separate SDK). Essentially the mat is a type of second screen that is pretty responsive and communicates well with its attached PC.The coolest little trick this thing can do is let users scan objects and manipulated them in 2d or 3D. This piece above comes with 4 cameras along with Intel's RealSense 3D camera, which we caught a glimpse of at CES this year, to make it all happen.
HP is urging new partners to join but will launch on November 9th with applications from Evernote, Skype, Office, and others, and will set you back about $1900. You'll be able to find Sprout in big box stores like Best Buy or online via HP or Microsoft.

                 Microsoft says it wants to support touch users who have persevered with Windows 8 and "evolve" the touch UI. (Translated: That means it is changing quite a bit.) The task switching will no longer work on the left. So with that and the charms going, that's goodbye to most of the problem with Windows 8 - and a whole philosophy down the pan. Another quite amazing feature for those of us that use it is that the command prompt is now getting keyboard shortcuts! So you will be able to paste in your commands! Hardly groundbreaking, but actually pretty exciting.
                            Windows 10 will also usher in a new app model - Universal Windows apps. Windows Universal apps are the new name for Metro apps/Modern apps/Windows Store apps. Take your pick on those old monikers, they've got a new one! Presumably (although we don't know as yet) that these will also work on Windows Phone. Windows 10 will be able to run on all devices from phones to servers and there will be a single app store across the lot.All older Windows Store apps will work with Windows 10.
                       Microsoft says it hopes to appeal to business with this release of Windows, more so than Windows 8 ever did. Belfiore said they were "starting the dialogue with businesses today".
To be honest, it needs to - Windows XP is now ancient and unsupported, while precious other businesses want to make the leap away from Windows 7. But part of the reason why Microsoft is demonstrating the OS without all the consumer features is to show enterprises what the OS is capable of at this stage.This version of Windows will have plenty of other features for enterprise, including a customised store and protection for corporate data. Mobile Device Management will be able to be used for all devices.Windows 10 will keep personal and corporate data separate.
